Hungry Snake

You are the Hungry Snake and this is your feeding field.

Eat all the apples. For each apple you grab your snake's head will grow as it's mouth gets fuller and fuller.

Swallow your food to reduce your head size and score points, but your tail will grow each time you swallow your food. The more apples you have in your mouth the bigger the multiplier (and your head).

The field will slowly fill up with thorn seeds. Avoid those, they aren't good for you.

The more you wait to swallow your food the more points you'll earn and you'll have less increases of your tail size, but a big head makes it harder to dodge thorn seeds.

Don't bite more than you can chew!

Instructions

  • Move by using keyboard arrows or WSAD keys. Gamepad digital and left analog sticks are supported
  • Don't touch the edges of the field or the purple thorn seeds, they're deadly
  • Grab the apples, the snake will hold them on it's mouth. You can hold as many as you want, but your head gets bigger the more apples you hold
  • For every 3 apples you increase the multiplier by one
  • Press SPACE (or A on Xbox controller) to swallow. Your head will go back to it's original size and you win 10 x "multiplier" points for each apple
  • When you swallow, your multiplier resets to zero
  • If you die while holding apples, the points for the apples you're holding are lost
  • Try to reach a high score

It just reads "WebGL not available". I never encountered this error msg (I'm on Chrome + Windows)

It's running fine here on all browsers on Windows. Could you please check this site and run the demos? If it's an overall issue with WebGL on your browser you'll probably have the same issue in these demos as well.
