Submission for Godot Wild Jam #81

Invaders of the Lost Tomb

Awakened from an eternal slumber, you are the cursed mummy of a mighty pharaoh. Once sealed within the sacred depths of your tomb alongside your most treasured possessions, your peace is shattered as daring archaeologists disturb your resting place. Driven by greed and glory, they seek to claim your artifacts and display them in their museum.

But the ancient curse prevails! Revived by the wrath of forgotten gods, you must rise to defend your tomb. Use your supernatural powers, summon spectral forces, and devise devious traps to thwart the relentless invaders. Will you protect your legacy, or will history be rewritten by those who dare to trespass?

How to play

  • Move your mouse: Look around
  • W and S keys or UP and DOWN arrow keys: Move forward or backwards.
  • A and D keys or LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys: Strafe left or right.
  • LEFT mouse button or SPACE key: Attack
  • ENTER or P: Pause/Resume gameplay

You play as the mummy. You need to protect your treasure. From the entrances of the tomb, archeologists will invade and try to take your treasure away. They can't harm you, so go to them and attack to knock them down.

If they take one of your treasures, knock them down and stand for a moment near your treasure to return it to its pedestal.

They will attack relentlessly. Protect your tomb for as long as you can. If they finally take all your treasure, the game is over and you'll see your final score.

Good luck, protect your tomb.
